About this Site
Update August 16, 2003: This site
has become obsolete: The City of Montebello finally put up their own
official site for the bus lines. See:

Welcome to Matthew's Montebello Bus Lines web site! I made this
web site because it didn't exist yet, and it should.
This is not an
official web site. I just made the web page by scanning
the printed schedules, as a public service to those of you who ride
the bus.
History
I live in La Mirada, which is served by Montebello Bus Line 50.
That line happens to go right by my house, and right by
my mechanic's shop. So I would ride the bus every time my car
was in the shop (which was frequently, with my old car). One day, I
was looking online for the schedule, and realized that it didn't
exist. So I scanned the schedule for Line 50 and put it on my
web page back in 2000.
Soon, I started noticing that people would find my page from
search engines looking for the bus schedules, so in September 2002,
I added more lines, and then in January 2003, I added all the bus
lines and moved the site to
biggest-cities.com, rather than my personal web page.
Other Projects
This web page is part of an experiment in putting useful
information online. Whenever I search for information at a search
engine and can't find it right away, I say to myself: "Someone
should make a web page!"
So I finally decided to stop wishing, and start making the pages.
This is one of them. My
biggest-cities.com is another. My personal web page is at
matthewweathers.com.

Financial Support
This site is currently financially supported by the Amazon.com
ads that are featured on each page. However, if the City of
Montebello wishes to provide some kind of support to me, I would be
happy to remove those ads.
